HollywoodScore.app ("we", "us", "our") is an entertainment web application that scores names using linguistic analysis. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit and use our Service.

Information We Collect
We collect minimal data. Here is a summary of what is and isn't collected:

Section 03
How Your Name Is Processed
The scoring algorithm runs 100% client-side in your browser using JavaScript. When you type a name:
- The name is analysed locally by your browser using our scoring library.
- The name is reflected in the page URL (e.g.,
/brad-pitt) for sharing purposes. - The name is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
- Google Analytics may record the URL path (which contains the name slug) as a page view event.
If you are concerned about name data appearing in analytics, please use your browser's private / incognito mode.
Section 04
Google Analytics & Tag Manager
We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to collect anonymised usage statistics. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to measure how visitors interact with the site.
Google's data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Cookies
HollywoodScore.app itself does not set any first-party cookies. Google Analytics sets the following standard cookies:

You can disable cookies in your browser settings or use a browser extension such as uBlock Origin to prevent analytics tracking.
Section 06
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade any data. Data is shared only with:
- Google LLC — for analytics (as described above).
- AWS CloudFront / S3 — our hosting infrastructure, which processes standard HTTP request logs (IP addresses, user agents) retained for a short period for security purposes.
We do not use advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or social media tracking scripts beyond GTM.

Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Section 08
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of data we hold. Because we collect very little personal data, most requests will be addressed by confirming we hold no identifiable data about you.
EU/EEA residents: You have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). California residents: You have rights under the CCPA.

Security
The Service is served over HTTPS. We do not store personal data on our servers, which substantially limits our data security exposure. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data in transit.

Changes & Contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
